Road crews for the NC Dept of Transportation are setting up on both sides of Eaton's Ferry Bridge to install temporary traffic lights today.
According to Field Engineer Jordan Leibman with American Civil Constructors, workers will install the lights that will limit the only access across the lake within 30 miles to one lane. Travelers should expect delays.

We already knew Lake Gaston is one of the greatest places in the world but it seems there are a lot of others who agree and this week, the area was declared the number one lake getaway all over the United States by BuzzFeed, Inc. an its readers.
In a reader’s poll, according to staff writer Michelle No, Lake Gaston was received the most votes and beat out Smith Mountain Lake, Va. and Lake Tahoe, Calif.
